{"id":772,"date":"2019-09-29T23:11:19","date_gmt":"2019-09-29T21:11:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/quest.pik-potsdam.de\/?p=772"},"modified":"2021-01-06T16:33:28","modified_gmt":"2021-01-06T15:33:28","slug":"quest-workshop-at-waikato-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/quest.pik-potsdam.de\/?p=772","title":{"rendered":"QUEST workshop at Waikato University"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>From 9 to 11 September 2019, the Waikato University QUEST partner organized a workshop on <em>Quantitative palaeoclimate reconstructions using speleothems<\/em> in the Avantidrome, Cambride (New Zealand). QUEST project partners as scientists from the field were invited to share progress and prospects beyond the timeline of the existing QUEST funding. Up to 15 scientists participated and presented and discussed updates of their research. Highlight was the presentation of a new prototype of an auto-sampler. The last day of workshop led to the Waipuna cave, with intensive sampling and in-situ measurements of drip water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1
