The idea is to first consider each proxy separately as a <a href=\"http:\/\/iopscience.iop.org\/article\/10.1088\/1367-2630\/12\/3\/033025\">recurrence network<\/a>, then combine them as layers of a multiplex network, and derive a similarity measure from this resulting multiplex recurrence network.
